| Alison's son is realist painter Sheel Gardner
Anand. His beautiful renderings of
scenic and architectural landscapes in
Vermont adorn the walls of the farmhouse at
Historic Bates Farm.
Sheel showed his artistic gift at the
tender age of 7. His artistic
expression has matured to a realism of
photographic accuracy. His paintings have a naturalistic
style with hints of impressionism featuring
an almost lost technique of Renaissance
painting. The subjects of his works are
romantically nostalgic, evoking memories of
Vermont.
